Most Tulsa City Councilors support Vision 2

But some have not called KRMG News back

With the November 6th elections just over a month away, KRMG News called all nine Tulsa City Councilors to find out where they stand on the Vision 2 proposal, which is on the ballot.

KRMG was able to reach five of the nine councilors.

District 2 Councilor Jeannie Cue and District 5 Councilor Karen Gilbert said they both support Proposition 2 for community projects.

Cue is undecided and Gilbert said she tends to oppose it, because she says there's so much uncertainty right now about American Airlines.

But they were much less enthusiastic about Proposition 1 to improve the buildings at the airport.

"It puts us in a weird predicament, y'know, if they're still even going to be in existence," Gilbert said.

District 3 Councilor David Patrick, District 1 Councilor Jack Henderson and District 6 Councilor Skip Steele said they support both proposals.

KRMG News has yet to hear back from District 9 Councilor G.T. Bynum, District 4 Councilor Blake Ewing, District 7 Councilor Thomas Mansur and District 8 Councilor Phil Lakin
