More Schlotzsky's coming to Tulsa

And Cinnabon, too

Schlotzsky's is gearing up to expand in Oklahoma over the next year.

More than 10 locations are anticipated in the Tulsa area alone.

"Oklahoma has always been a strong market for Schlotzsky's," said David Wheeler, vice president of franchise development at Schlotzsky's. "Customers there have been really really loyal to us and as we continue to grow and expand, especially with our new image, customers have really started coming back to us."

Cinnabon will be joining the sandwich shops, offering more baked goods and specialty drinks.

The company's new image is called "Lotz Better," a design complete with vibrant colors, modern furniture and contemporary art.

More businesses equals more revenue for Tulsa and its surrounding communities.

“We in the last several months have started getting a lot of interest from franchise candidates expressing interest in developing in the Oklahoma market," said Wheeler. "Whenever you have businesses opening up, it’s always good for the economy.”

Additional locations include Sapulpa, Bartlesville and Owasso.
