TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa State Fair starts Wednesday with some modifications.

Adam McKinney with McKinney Food Services said he’s excited to have an event this weekend.

McKinney said when this year started, he never imagined that the fair would be reduced to five days and a smaller number of vendors.

Inside, Expo Square will be hosting the 4-H and FFA Junior Livestock Shows.

“No one’s ever heard of anything like this,” McKinney said. “Our family has been in this business since 1927 and never seen anything like it. Through the wars and everything else, but there’s nothing like this.”

The livestock show will be smaller to comply with CDC and Tulsa Health Department guidelines.

“We have a lot of additional cleaning measures taking place,” said Amanda Blair with Expo Square. “We have different sprayers that we go through and sanitize different high touch areas.”

Admission to the Food Court is $5, parking is free.
