Mercury Lounge hosting ‘Tulsa Turnaround’ event

Vendors will set up shop in parking lot

If you’re looking for things to do this weekend, the Mercury Lounge at 18th and Boston in Tulsa is hosting what they’re calling their ‘Tulsa Turnaround’ event.

They’ll have live music tonight and tomorrow night.

And tomorrow from noon to 4:00 p.m., they’ll have vendors set up in the parking lot.

“Everybody’s just been kind of living in this limbo. Nobody really knows what to do, nobody really knows what to expect. Everybody’s just kind of doing the best they can,” Orcutt says.

That part is a little bit different for the lounge, but owner Bobby Dean Orcutt says that’s part of keeping a business going during Covid-19.

They do require a mask and temperature check. And they have reduced capacity indoors.

The vendors will include Buck Atom’s Cosmic Curios, Doghouse Food Truck, Shaw Hill Vintage Western Wear, Black Gold Tattoos, and more.
