Massive revitalization planned for Tulsa's Crutchfield neighborhood

Habitat for Humanity is heading into Tulsa’s historic Crutchfield neighborhood but volunteers aren't there to build homes.

Hundreds of volunteers will actually be taking part in a massive revitalization project.

Habitat for Humanity is partnering with Hilti for "A Brush with Kindness," a new program serving Tulsa-area homeowners.

“These projects help homeowners preserve their overall home exteriors while revitalizing the already-established neighborhood. In the end, the work of ABWK helps families live in safe and well-maintained homes and supports the preservation of affordable housing inventory.” said Paul Kent, Executive Director, Tulsa Habitat for Humanity.

The program is designed to help low-income families maintain their homes through projects like home improvements and repairs.

The revitalization project is scheduled for May 2 through 5.

Habitat for Humanity is hoping for 500 volunteers a day. To sign up,  go to www.tulsahabitat.org.
