Man unintentionally leaves $14k at restaurant

When 73-year-old Jerry Allsup stopped in for lunch at Pete's Place in Krebs, he had no intention of tipping so well.

It wasn't a tip of course, but he did leave his coat behind with $14,000 in cash in the pocket.

Allsup had set out to buy a car that day, but he wasn't pleased with its condition so he passed.

When one of the employees picked up his coat, she was shocked to find that amount of cash inside.

Allsup called the restaurant the next day to look for his missing money.

The woman made sure that it was in fact his property before giving it back.

Allsup tried to give the woman a cash reward, but she refused and said he should just do a good deed for someone else in need.
