Man tries to get pot, meth delivered by Fed Ex

A Tulsa man was expecting two packages on Friday.

He wasn't expecting officers to show up instead.

Tulsa police say a K9 alerted store employees to two boxes at a local Fed Ex.  Officers obtained a search warrant and were surprised by what they found when they looked inside.

Ernest Diaz's name was on both boxes.

The boxes contained over 400 grams of meth, and over 400 grams of high-grade marijuana.

Police say they caught up to Diaz at his home near 61st and Garnett.

He was taken to the Tulsa County Jail, where he faces counts of trafficking a controlled drug, and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
