Man tries to bring sawed-off shotgun into high school football game

A man attempted to bring a sawed-off shotgun into the Central High School vs. Sprindale, Arkansas football game held at S.E. Williams Stadium on the campus of Booker T. Washington on Friday evening.

Tulsa police say they received the call around 8:22 p.m. at the stadium near Trenton and Zion.

Dominique Morgan had the gun in a backpack and was told by campus police he couldn't bring the backpack into the game.

So, he put the backpack down nearby and tried to enter the game again.  This time he was allowed, but campus police noticed he didn't have his backpack.

Police say a short time later, the backpack was discovered.  The gun was found inside the backpack.

Morgan was tracked down by officers and arrested.

No word on if the gun was loaded.

Morgan is currently in the Tulsa County Jail.  He faces one count of possessing a gun on school property and one count of possessing a saw-off shotgun.
