Man shot to death with a rifle near 21st and Delaware

One hour later suspect arrested at drug treatment facility

The shooter is in custody, now Tulsa Police are trying to figure out why he shot his friend to death with a rifle.

It happened around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday near 21st and Delaware at a residence that both men shared.

Investigators tell us 21-year old James Dylan High and 49-year old Gerald Greenfield were arguing about something right before a rifle shot was fired.

High was taken into custody at a drug treatment facility about half a mile away around 10 P.M.

Greenfield died of the gunshot wound at the scene.

Detectives tell KRMG that they are interviewing around eight witnesses and are trying to determine what led to the shooting.

This was the 39th homicide in Tulsa this year.
