Man in shark costume accused of breaking into car

Police see a LOT in their line of work, but even THEY haven't seen it all.

Case in point: Police were called out to the Walmart at Admiral and Memorial about two men accused of breaking into a car.

When they got there, Officer Darrell Ross says one suspect was wearing a shark costume.

“And in the process, we did have to search his shark costume. I've never searched a shark before,” Ross said, laughing.

The suspect, Derek Miller, told police the reason he was wearing the costume is because he was cold.

Police say the car was stolen.
