Man sentenced for locking child in dog cage

Updating a story about a Rogers County man accused of locking his 4-year-old stepson in a dog cage.

Court records show Johnathon Lee was sentenced yesterday to 54 years in prison.  He had already pleaded guilty to the child abuse charge, saving taxpayer money on a trial.

During the investigation, deputies found out the boy had been locked in the cage on multiple occasions.  This included being left in the cage overnight.

It was also discovered he had sexually abused a 14-year-old girl.  He will have to be registered as a sex offender for the sexual abuse charge.

The boy's mother, Suzanne Satterfield, will be sentenced on August 7th.  She faced charges for allowing the abuse to occur.
