Man robbed in South Tulsa overnight

A man is robbed at gunpoint while returning home early Saturday morning.

Police say a suspect ran up to the victim around 12:41 a.m. at the Waterstone Apartments near 57th and Peoria.

The man pulled a pistol and stole the victim's laptop.  Police say he then ran across the apartment complex on foot.

TPD arrived to the scene quickly.  Police say they caught a man running inside the apartment complex soon after a foot chase, but the victim wasn't able to identify the person in custody.

Officers are looking for a black man, 6ft, 180 pounds and he was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and a bandanna as a mask.

The guy police caught wasn't wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt or a gun.  He was taken into custody on a warrant.
