Man robbed after responding to text message

Suspects with knives, guns demanded the victim to strip

Tulsa police are investigating an armed robbery at the Wimbledon Apartments near 7400 East 48th Street.

The victim was robbed abhout 11:23 p.m. Sunday after he sent a text message to a woman that he had won money at a casino, then went to her apartment.

Tulsa Police Corporal Brandon Disney said, "Three to four black male suspects some with knives some with guns entered the apartment through the front door, demanded the victim strip."

We're told that the victim hitched a ride to the Quiktrip store near 51st and Sheridan where police were called.

That's when the victim was robbed.

No one has been arrested.
