Man offers $10,000 to anyone who can disprove Genesis

Professor doesn't expect any takers

Dr. Joseph Mastropaolo is a creationist who believes completely in the book of Genesis.

Mastropaolo says the account of how the universe was created is not only correct, but irrefutable.

In an attempt to prove it he is offering $10,000 to anyone if they can disprove the literal interpretation in front of a judge using science.

A minitrial is different in that many of the figures needed for a regular trial don’t need to be in attendance.

It's called the Literal Genesis Trial and anyone accepting has to put up $10,000 as well and the winner takes the cash.

However, a bailiff and court reporter will be there as well as a judge who both sides agree on.

The rules state the “evidence must be scientific, that is, objective, valid, reliable, and calibrated."
