Man climbs tower, dies in fall

An unidentified man was killed after he climbed a 200-foot tall electrical tower in Seattle, Washington and touched a high-voltage line.

Authorities say he then fell to a platform where his body was found by Seattle firefighters.

They say he appeared to be electrocuted.

They say it would have taken a "very determined" person to be able to climb the tower's legs.

Firefighters say there was a cellphone next to the body, but they have no idea why he climbed the tower.

Many people in Tulsa will no doubt remember August of 2011, when a different man, 25-year-old William Sturdivant, climbed roughly 100 feet up the broadcasting tower at the Clearchannel Communciation building near 23rd and Memorial in Tulsa, where he stayed for 6 days before coming down.
