Man charged with shooting girlfriend's brother

An ongoing dispute was taken too far last weekend and now a man has been charged.

Tulsa court records show Marco Crisp was charged on Thursday with assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

Everything started early Saturday morning when Crisp called 911 stating he had shot his girlfriend's brother.

Pettie is expected to survive his wounds.

Police say when they arrived at the Park Plaza Apartments near 51st and Sheridan, they found Homer Pettie II.  He had been shot multiple times.

Crisp was arrested on a count of shooting with intent to kill.  The count was changed to assault with a deadly weapon when he was charged.

No word on what their dispute was about.
