Man's attempt to get back at ex-wife backfires with prison time

An Oklahoma City man was recently sentenced to nearly two decades in prison for trying to get back at his ex-wife.

Court records show Robert Apgar has been sentenced to 235 months in federal prison.  This comes after he pleaded guilty to to making a bomb threat and sending child pornography.

Apgar had been accused of making an anonymous tip claiming his ex-wife was planning to blow up a courthouse in Grady County. FBI agents were able to trace the threat to a home where he was living with his mother.

NewsOK.com reports agents found child pornography on his computer.  They also recovered a conversation Apgar had with an undercover officer who was posing as an underage child.
