Man arrested following neighborhood disturbance

Tulsa, Okla. — A man connected to a disturbance is in jail.

Tulsa police tell us 34-year old Jose Guerrero was arrested after he tried to break into a house near 34th and South Garnett Road.

“The vehicle came to an abrupt stop and the driver bailed on foot,” TPD Sgt. Andrew Mackenzie said.

We're told Guererro had tossed a gun away and had drugs on him when he was arrested.

The driver jumped over a couple of fences in the neighborhood and was “subsequently caught on Garnett.”

He is also accused of breaking into a garage before he was captured around midnight Tuesday morning.
