Man allegedly shoots teenager while stealing car back

For the second time this week in Oklahoma a potential victim of a crime is the one who ends up in jail.

The latest incident happened on Wednesday in Oklahoma City.

Clinton Irons went inside a store to grab some lunch and when he returned, his car had been stolen. Newsok.com reports Irons used a tracking device to find it and instead of calling the police, he reportedly took matters into his own hands.

Irons then drove away and apparently changed his clothes according to investigators.  He was later tracked down and arrested.

Investigators believe Irons found his vehicle, fired a gun at an apartment complex, and hit a 13-year-old boy.  An update on the boy’s condition hasn’t been released.

He now faces counts of assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm after former conviction of a felony.
