Man accused of abusing 'fussy' 6-month-old

A 6-month-old baby boy was transported to the hospital on Monday with multiple injuries to his head, face, and shoulder.

Tulsa police say they have arrested Andrew Stotts on one count of child abuse by injury for the incident.

Stotts told officers he got up early Monday morning to feed the baby.

Instead of just doing that, he admitted to slamming the baby's head into the crib and a wall "pretty hard."

Police say the baby then became "fussy," so Stotts decided to put him back in his crib.

The baby was taken to Saint Francis and a head CT indicated the 6-month-old had a skull fracture. No updates have been given of the baby's condition.

Stotts is currently in the Tulsa County Jail.
