Local business nominated for national award

Tulsa’s only full-service gas station is getting national attention for its new retro look.

Reeder’s in Utica Square is up for the Electric Sign Readers’ Choice Award. The competition is conducted by Signs of the Times.

The Readers’ Choice Awards are provided to complement the International Sign Contest.

The fuel sold at Reeder’s is provided by Tulsa’s own HollyFrontier Refinery and is offered as pure gasoline or an ethanol mix.

Reeder's has been in Tulsa since 1961 providing an auto and tire center, convenience store and carwash.

Locally owned Reeder's is one of just 10 businesses nominated for the award for the best sign. The first round of voting ends Friday, January 17th.
