Local brewery now offering private igloos on rooftop for winter season

Welltown Brewing Igloos Welltown Brewing located in downtown Tulsa is now offering Igloos on their rooftop for customers to reserve with a small group of friends for the winter season as a way to stay warm.

TULSA, Okla. — A Tulsa brewery is offering a new experience for the winter.

Welltown Brewery in the Arts District now has igloo pods on its rooftop for people to reserve.

The large pods fit 6-8 people and the small fit 2-4 people. They are heated and have blankets and speakers inside.

The igloos also offer a layer of safety from the coronavirus, similar to partitions at restaurants.

The owner says they’re a fun way for people to experience the outdoors without the elements.

The owner says they already have an overwhelming response from the public. Reservations are filling up quickly. They plan to have the igloos out until the weather warms up in the spring.
