Lambrusco'z set to open 'Blue Dome Market' in downtown Tulsa

A downtown location of Lambrusco'z To Go will anchor a new restaurant and retail development at 2nd and Detroit called the Blue Dome Market.

Lambrusco'z To Go has had a longtime location in the Old Village Shopping Center in Brookside.

Owner Nancy Bruce says the Blue Dome Market has targeted a Septemeber opening date for the new venture.

She said the existing entrances are on the east and west sides of the building, but they're going to open up the south side of the structure, and have a patio area with outdoor dining that will extend into what is currently a parking lot.

She says the currently vacant structure on the northwest corner of 2nd and Detroit dates back to at least the 1940's and had been used as a parking garage and a car mechanic's shop.

"It's going to be a retail destination in downtown," Bruce said.  "Currently we have over half the building leased."

Besides Lambrusco'z, she said a clothing store featuring primarily women's clothing is slated to open in the Blue Dome Market.

She plans to have at least one more restaurant and more retail at the location.
