Kum & Go robbed at 71st and Garnett

Suspects took cash and some of clerk’s own property

Tulsa Police are on the lookout for two suspects who robbed the Kum & Go store at 71st and Garnett at gunpoint around 3:00 a.m. this morning.

“Both individuals produced a handgun, they demanded the money out of the register. They also took a carton of cigarettes. They stole a couple of personal items from the clerk himself,” said Tulsa Police Lt. Darren Bristow.

Lt. Bristow says police actually found the clerk’s personal items down the street, so he at least got those back.

“This store here does not get robbed very often,” Lt. Bristow said.

Police say just the location of the robbery makes it a little unusual.

He says the suspects are described as two black males in their 20′s, wearing all black.

He says the suspects fled on foot but might have had a car waiting nearby.
