Kansas hate church will protest Roger Ebert's funeral today

Film critic died April 4th

The Kansas church called Ebert a fool who "sold his soul for some fame & fortune" and is bound for "eternal torment & sorrow in Hell."

The group is known for frequently picketing and protesting at the funerals of American soldiers. They can be seen holding signs with their often repeated mantra "God hates fags."

In a release Westboro said Ebert will get their attention because he “mocked” them including calling the church odious.

Ebert’s funeral is 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago.

Westboro says it will picket "in lawful proximity" from 9:15-10 a.m.
