Justin Bieber arrested

Singer accused of DUI, drag racing

The Biebs was taken into custody on charges of drag racing and DUI after he left a club in Miami Beach Thursday morning.

Reports say Bieber’s friends and followers used their cars to block traffic in a residential area of Miami, creating a drag strip for Bieber and his yellow Lamborghini.

The Miami Herald reports Miami Beach Police Chief Raymond said Bieber was incoherent and appeared to be under the influence of drugs when he failed a drug recognition test given by officers.

Reports also say Bieber let go with a cascade of F-bombs when pulled over. He also kept his hands in his pants pockets, cops say that means he "resisted arrest without violence."

They also say the singer told police "he had a beer, was under the influence of anti-depressants and had been smoking marijuana all day.

Raymond also confirmed Bieber didn’t have a driver's license and there was a woman in the car with him when he was picked up.

Also taken into custody and charged with DUI was singer Khalil Sharief of Island Def Jam Records.

We’ll have more on the story as it develops.
