Joe Exotic looking for love; applications open for ‘Bachelor King’

Confident in his team of attorneys and the possibility of release, Joseph Maldonado-Passage, aka the “Tiger King”, is looking for a post-prison relationship.

FOX23 told you about the legal group calling themselves Tiger Team and their efforts to get the former Wynnewood zoo owner out of prison. Maldonado-Passage has been in prison since 2018 after being convicted for a murder-for-hire plot against rival Carol Baskin and various wildlife crimes.

A series of posts on the Joseph Madonado-Passage Facebook page say the “Tiger King” is confident he will be freed by the end of the year, if not sooner. The latest post promoting the ‘Bachelor King.’



Men over 18 years of age can fill out an application online to possibly be the next romance in Joe’s new life. The top 3 picks will receive a 3-night, 4-day all-exclusive paid romantic get away with Joe Exotic once he has been released.

In a press release, Madonado-Passage is quoted saying,” I have been through hell in three years and I intend on making my new life something I have always dreamed of and I want to spend it with someone that can take a relationship serious and be in love and enjoy this ride, and make this about us as a team, not just me or the man I choose to carry on with. I want to share this with someone great.”

In a letter to FOX23 Investigative Reporter Janna Clark, Maldonado-Passage says “Tiger Team” is gathering evidence that will show he euthanized tigers for medical reasons, and never planned to have anyone hurt Baskin.
