Driver dies in Broken Arrow head-on collision

Broken Arrow, Okla. — A Sand Springs woman died in a head-on crash in Broken Arrow Tuesday morning.

Broken Arrow police told KRMG there was a collision near 85th and Garnett shortly before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

BAPD Capt. Stephen Garrett said, “While this driver was leaving the scene of the first collision they drove left of center and struck another vehicle causing a second collision.”

Hernandez was charged with DUI and manslaughter, according to police.

Officers said Hector Manuel Hernandez crossed the center line and hit Jennifer Holt of Sand Springs head-on. We’re told Holt died at the hospital.
