Huge jet fuselages in river drawing tourists

parts came off a train after derailment

The rafters were enjoying a trip on the Lower Clark Fork River in Montana when they spotted the jet parts.

Three Boeing 737 fuselages are still near, and partially in the river after 19 train cars derailed in the area last week.

The Missoulian reports soybeans and denatured alcohol were also on-board the train, but none of that cargo went into the water.

You would never expect it," Joshua Flanagan told the Daily News.

Crews hope to remove the plane parts in the next day or two but tourists aren’t in a hurry to see them gone. "It's kind of a surreal thing that comes around the corner.

Flanagen, who owns a rafting company called Wiley E. Waters, says the oddity is good for business. "I think people are really anxious to see this unique thing that happened."
