Hotel employee accuses guest of sexual battery

We've learned a guest staying at the Hyatt Regency Hotel near 2nd and Cincinnati, was arrested on Friday for sexual battery.

An employee at the hotel told officers she entered the room and asked James Mein if he needed clean towels.  The suspect said yes, and a short time later the employee returned with fresh towels.

Before she could leave the room, he motioned for the employee to come over to where he was standing.  The employee told officers she thought he was going to give her a tip.

Instead, police say he kissed her, grabbed her, and tried to stick his hand down her pants.

Officers arrived at the hotel and took Mein into custody for sexual battery.  Police say he denied the accusations and told officers the victim never "said no."

A co-worker told officers a different story.  Police say the co-worker heard the victim "say no," before quickly leaving Mein's room.

He was taken to the Tulsa County Jail.
