Home invasion, pistol-whipping victim needs stitches at hospital

Tulsa, Okla. — Tulsa police are investigating a home invasion and pistol-whipping.

It happened shortly before midnight Saturday, just east of North Yale Avenue on East Haskell Street.

We're told the suspect made his way into the homeowner's bedroom and pointed a gun at the homeowner.

The victim needed to have stitches taken for his wounds when he arrived at the hospital.

The victim fought back and was pistol whipped before the suspect ran off.

It was unknown if the suspect took anything.

He was described as a skinny, light-skinned black male around 6 feet tall and wearing all black clothing.
