Holland Hall closing school over coronavirus concerns

TULSA, Okla. — Parents of students at Tulsa private school Holland Hall received an e-mail Wednesday afternoon saying the school will close over coronavirus concerns.

In the e-mail, Head of School J.P. Culley said the school would close for the rest of the day, as well as Thursday and Friday.

“We have been informed that several members of our community have been in contact with a family member of a patient who has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). “ Culley wrote.

The days off lead into spring break, so the students will not be asked to do any classwork from home.

The e-mail said the school isn’t aware of anyone in the Holland Hall community showing symptoms or testing positive at this time.
