Hispanic men pistol whipped in Tulsa Sunday morning

Two hispanic men are pistol whipped and robbed around 4:06 a.m. this morning at the Bristol Apartments near 44th and Garnett.

In a telephone interview with KRMG just after 7:30 a.m. this morning, Tulsa Police Corporal Mark Shelton reports that the two Hispanic men were outside on the balcony of their apartment drinking beer when they were robbed.

According to Corporal Stanley the passengers in a red car, driven by a woman, noticed the men on the balcony.

Shortly after that, two teenage black men approached the Hispanic men from both sides of the apartment.

The car disappeared around the complex.

Both men were carrying guns.

The young black men then pistol whipped and beat up the Hispanic men, taking wallets, money and other property during the robbery.

Tulsa Police have no other description on the gunman.
