Broken Arrow police are running a free junior police academy this week.
The goal is to help teach kids about what police officers do and to educate Green Country's youngest citizens.
Twenty kids, boys and girls ages 11-15, are participating.
When KRMG was out there, kids were running an obstacle course.
Most of the kids want to be police officers when they grow up.
According to Office Scott Oelke, the kids pull a 100 pound dummy across seven yards of the course, to simulate pulling a passed out person to safety.
Then they run a serpentine course, and climb stairs.
By educating these school kids, they are able to help keep both Broken Arrow, and Green Country safer.
The camp runs through Friday.
Other classes the kids will take throughout the week will include courtroom behavior, K-9 work, traffic stops, defensive tactics, and SWAT operations.
