Today's grass fire danger will be lower than Sunday's thanks to much higher humidity.
But strong southerly wind gusts to 35 mph will continue to make conditions dangerous until rain starts later in the day. Scattered storms will develop in the late afternoon and evening with some of them having at least a chance to become severe.
Most of the heaviest weather will happen southwest of metro Tulsa but that could change by Tuesday. Widespread heavy showers, especially in the afternoon could bring as much as five inches of rain to portions of eastern Oklahoma.

Scattered severe storms are possible during the entire transition of the front as it crosses the state before gradually clearing away from Tulsa to the east someitme Wednesday. Localized flooding is possible by midweek in southeast Oklahoma.
