Plumbers are not the only workers who have been busy during the recent cold weather.
One heating and air technician we spoke to says he hasn't been able to catch his breath because he's been so busy.
“When it gets cold, people start calling,” the technician said.
“A lot of it is due to age,” the technician said. “Some of it is due to a lack of maintenance.”
Usually, the problems he encounters stem from one of two factors.
It's important to make sure your filters have been changed. The technician adds people should clean their duct work as well.
