Handwritten draft of Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone" up for auction

Part of bigger pop music sale

The draft is written in pencil on stationary from the Roger Smith hotel in Washington D.C.

The year was 1965 and Bob Dylan was just 24 years old.

On the four pages are doodles, notes, changes, etc. Now that document, written by Dylan himself, will be auctioned by Sotheby's in New York.

The piece will join others at the “Pop Music” sale in June.

Early estimates say the copy of “Like a Rolling Stone” will sell for somewhere between $1 and $2 million.
