Governor Fallin makes stop in Tulsa on campaign tour

Fallin stopped at Guthrie Green and Los Cabos in Jenks

As the general election approaches, Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin is beginning a tour of the state.

The governor was in Tulsa Tuesday afternoon and first stopped in downtown at Guthrie Green. She was met with cheers from supporters and with those of opponents as well.

The governor told KRMG she’ll spend the next several months travelling the state to tell Oklahomans why she deserves a second term in office.

Fallin also addressed the negative ads her opponent Joe Dorman has been running.

“We’re going to focus on jobs, the economy, education and making government more efficient and more effective.” Fallin said.

“It’s very sad that he’s already mudslinging this early in the campaign and talking about negative things.” Fallin said. “We’re going to focus on how we can better the lives of Oklahomans.” She added.

The general election will be held on November 4.
