The rally was set to take place October 5th but with the Gettysburg national battlefield being shut down; the hooded members can't gather and promote their message.
The National Park Service had defended allowing the Klan to hold their rally saying they cater to all citizens, "even those whose views are contrary to the majority of the American public."
Richard Preston is the leader of the Maryland-based Klan group that planned the rally.
Preston said he doesn’t expect a big turnout anyway, with fewer than a dozen expected to show up.
He told Pennlive.com they are checking for other places to hold the gathering with the town square being considered.
