Gas line repair narrows traffic on Memorial Drive

South Tulsa drivers are feeling the pain of the project

A gas line repair project on Memorial Drive just north of 91st Street in south Tulsa has lanes narrowed for about a quarter of a mile.

The City of Tulsa told KRMG Oklahoma Natural Gas is in charge of the project. Drivers are having to navigate the cones and in the southbound direction, drivers are directed into the northbound lane to get around the mess.

The city says by Thursday, ONG will have to tear up the other side of the road to finish the repairs. This means drivers will again be redirected onto another section of the road.

Crews are working around the clock to keep this project moving along, though ONG has not said when they will be finished.
