Friday: Rain, light snow possible along Kansas-Oklahoma border

Tulsa, Okla. — A storm system is moving into the area today, bringing widespread rain before moving out Saturday afternoon.

National Weather Service meteorologist Robert Darby says some of the rain could become snow for part of the area, but not for Tulsa.

“Looks like those snow amounts will be light if they do transition across far northeast Oklahoma tonight,” Robert said.

Rainfall amounts should be about an inch and a half.

There should be no travel problems for any of the area that could get snow.
