Former teacher pleads guilty to having sex with student

Updating a story KRMG first told you about in March of 2012.

Tulsa County court records show a former Sand Springs English teacher pleaded guilty on Friday to having sex with a 17-year-old student.

Erin Queen received a three-year suspended sentence and a $600 fine.  As part of the plea deal, a charge of second-degree rape was dismissed.

Arrest records show 27-year-old Erin Queen was taken into custody Saturday morning.

Original:  A Sand Springs employee is arrested for rape.

The Charles Page High School employee was found at the Candlewood Suites near 71st and South Mingo.

Sunday morning Queen was still in jail.

Queen’s bond was set at $50,000.
