Former Coweta student arrested for alleged school threat

A 17-year-old former Coweta student was arrested on Tuesday by police and the Wagoner County Sheriff's office.

That's because the unidentified teenager apparently sent a social media message threatening violence against the school.   A motive for the message hasn’t been released.

Investigators don't believe there was an actual physical threat against the school on Tuesday. However, there were extra police on campus.

The teenager faces a count of threatening an act of violence.
