Trick or treat..?
People on the SNAP program, also known as food stamps, might say "trick", as increases to the food stamp program from the federal stimulus four years ago, are set to expire on Halloween, October 31st.
The State's Department of Human Services is warning people on food stamps to brace themselves for cutbacks.
The DHS says for the average family-of-four on food stamps, the cuts translate to about 21 meals LESS per month.
