Fewer Oklahomans traveling during Thanksgiving this year

Gasoline is a lot cheaper than it was LAST Thanksgiving, but AAA of Oklahoma actually says FEWER people in Oklahoma will be traveling during the Thanksgiving holiday.

AAA says the economy is sluggish, and that's why they're predicting a slight drop in travel.

They predict a 0.7-percent drop in the number of Oklahomans who will be driving.

Even so, there will still be more than 570-thousand of our fellow Oklahomans out there traveling, so expect it to be busy.

And they expect 2.9-percent fewer Oklahomans will be traveling by plane.

The Wednesday BEFORE Thanksgiving - as you might expect - is the busiest travel day.
