FBI says localized terrorist attack prevented with arrest

Multiple agencies involved

The man is 24 year old Buford Rogers and when he was arrested police found plenty of weaponry.

Rogers had guns, Molotov cocktails and the makings for pipe bombs in his mobile home in Minnesota.

The FBI says several agencies working together sniffed out the plot and said they were confident "the lives of several local residents were potentially saved, several guns and explosive devices were discovered."

Police wouldn’t say more about the location they believe was going to be attacked but Rogers lives in Montevideo, a city of about 5,000 people about 130 miles west of Minneapolis.

Rogers has been charged with one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm. He remained in federal custody today.

Police also confirmed they aren’t finished with their work "this is a very active investigation" one pointed out.
