The ship returned to port in Baltimore on Monday after a passenger said his wife was found dead in their stateroom.
The cruise line released a statement saying it contacted the FBI and local police.
They say the contact is standard procedure after the ship’s crew finds out about an incident like this.
The death comes after several other cruise ship incidents in the past two months including one ship that had to be towed to port after an engine room fire left it powerless.
The woman hasn’t been identified as of yet and there are no other details being released.
