57 teen drivers from the age of 16 to 19 years old were killed in Oklahoma in 2005.
That number dropped to 31 in 2012.
Officials believe the Graduated Driver's License program has helped, where teens have to go through several steps and get their experience gradually, before they get their full license.
But car crashes are still the number-one killer of teens.
