SKIATOOK, Okla. — A family is safe after they escaped a house fire in Skiatook overnight into Monday morning.
Skiatook police said the house, near Colonial Lane and West Country Road, caught fire after it was hit by a lightning strike.
A family of four got out of the house safely, but the house is a loss.
Firefighters put out the fire before it spread to any other houses.
