David Hall, one of two surviving victims of the Good Friday shooting spree in north Tulsa, spoke exclusively with KRMG from his hospital bed Monday afternoon.
Hall admits his memory of the shootings has only recently begun to come back, but he remembers the white pickup truck pulling up outside the home of his friend, Deon Tucker, in the 1300 block of E. 51st Pl. about 1:00 a.m. Friday.
"This truck was driving, and turned the corner," he said. "He pulled over to the side, closer to our side and he said 'hey you know how to get to such and such place?' And Deon gets up, he walks kind of close towards the man around his truck and starts telling him where the address is at."
"It happened fast," he says, "I fell unconscious."
He continued, "I guess Deon might have turned his head, and BOOM he shot him...and I jumped up...and before you know it I got shot. I fell back down on the...porch."
Asked if he was surprised by the swift and massive police response, he admitted he was "shocked."
"I got to give them their props," he told us. "They did their jobs."
Hall says he's not sure when he'll get out of the hospital.
